Hange Zoe

Hange Zoe is of average height, with a slender build and chestnut-colored hair pulled back into a high ponytail with strands framing her face. She has brown eyes and a hooked nose. She injured her left eye during the Colossal explosion in Shiganshina, for which she now wears a black eyepatch.

During combat, she wears thick-framed square glasses due to her very poor eyesight. In everyday life, she wears very thin-framed glasses, secured to her head with strips of fabric. Aside from the standard Survey Corps uniform, she usually wears a yellow shirt. As the commander of the Survey Corps, she wears a bolo tie. Because of her glasses, Levi calls Hanji "glasses" or "four-eyes."

Hanji is open, friendly, and humorous; some consider her sweet. She is passionately interested in the nature of giants, about whom she can talk endlessly. Zoe is a chatterbox. Considered insane in her circles, she can nevertheless demonstrate remarkable restraint and determination, and she devise combat tactics that minimize casualties. She is the creator of a special target acquisition weapon that was able to immobilize the Female Specimen.
