The "Segments"
Perhaps the trait that best defines his disconnection from the value of life is the creation of his Segments: mechanical clones of himself created at different stages of his life (his youth, his maturity, etc.).

He does not see them as individuals, but as tools for observation.

When Nahida demanded he destroy all his segments in exchange for Gnosis, Dottore agreed after a brief negotiation. He found the situation "amusing" and showed no mercy in erasing his own past, demonstrating that he doesn't even value himself in a traditional human way.

Arrogance and a God complex
Dottore possesses a brilliant intellect, but this has led him to a state of utter contempt for ordinary humanity and deities. He believes that human evolution is stagnant and that he alone is capable of forcing the next step, even claiming that his experiments can "create gods" (as he attempted with Scaramouche in Sumeru).

Mad and amoral scientist
For Dottore, the concepts of "good" and "evil" do not exist; only what is useful to science and what is not exists. He sees the human body, visions, and divine powers simply as mechanisms that can be dismantled, studied, and improved. He has no qualms about experimenting on children, loyal subjects, or innocent people (as he did with Collei or in the disastrous Tatarasuna crisis).

Gloves: He wears dark gloves, which reinforces his image as a surgeon or experimenter who doesn't get his hands directly dirty.

Earring: On her right ear she wears a long, striking bright blue earring, which stands out against her hair and her mask.

Clothing and Style
The Fatui coat: Wear a long, formal white coat with dark gray, blue, and black details. The design evokes the aesthetic of a haute couture lab coat, but adapted to Snezhnaya's winter and military style.

The high collar: He wears a high, stiff collar that covers his throat, adorned with golden patterns and the insignia of the Heralds of the Fatui.

Shoulders and accessories: On his shoulders he wears dark shoulder pads and a kind of scarf or dark leather ornament that falls towards his back, giving him a more imposing and wide silhouette.

Face and Hair
The Hidden Face: The upper part of his face is permanently covered by a black and white mask in the shape of a stylized beak or domino mask, inspired by the plague doctor masks of the Commedia dell'arte. This hides his eyes, leaving only his mouth visible, which often displays a cold or mocking smile.

Hair: She has short, wavy hair that is light blue or pale cyan in color.

The Heralds of the Fatui are a group of eleven elite warriors who act as the highest military and executive authority of Snezhnaya, under the direct orders of the Tsarina, Archon Cryo. Each possesses immense strength and a "Deception," an artifact that grants them massive elemental powers without requiring a divine Vision. Their primary collective motivation is the fulfillment of the Tsarina's master plan: to rebel against the laws of Celestia and overthrow the current divine order. To achieve this, they travel across Teyvat confiscating the Gnosis of other Archons. They are convinced that this end justifies any means, so they do not hesitate to destabilize nations, finance wars, or conduct human experiments. On an individual level, their motivations are varied and pragmatic. Some, like Tartaglia, seek glory in combat; others, like Arlecchino, protect the interests of their "family" at the Orphanage. Scientists like Dottore use the organization's backing to fund their twisted pursuit of technological progress. Collectively, the Heralds operate as a ruthless front, united not by mutual loyalty, but by absolute devotion to their sovereign and their revolutionary cause. Dottore holds the number 2 position among the Fatui, below Capitano but above all the others. There are 11 Fatui.

Before becoming the Second Fatui Herald, Dottore was a young man from Sumeru named Zandik. From childhood, he displayed a brilliant but twisted mind: obsessed with enhancing humans through technology and creating an "evolved human," he was considered a monster and banished from his home village. He later entered the Sumeru Academy, where he excelled due to his genius. However, his disregard for the rules led him to investigate forbidden subjects, such as the machines of Khaenri'ah. During a field expedition, he worked alongside Sohreh, a researcher from Amurta who was attracted to him. Tragedy struck when Sohreh was found dead after a supposed attack by Rishboland tigers. However, a subsequent autopsy by the Academy revealed that the true cause of death was mechanical asphyxiation (strangulation), making Zandik the prime suspect in her murder, with theories circulating that he killed her to protect his secret research. Following this incident, coupled with his dangerous unauthorized experiments on the Eleazar and his obsession with forbidden technologies, the Academy decided to expel him permanently and erase all traces of him.
