From the age of 16, he was on the front lines, witnessing the fall of his friends and comrades, which left him with mild post-traumatic stress disorder and the firm belief that the Light only seeks the extinction of his kind. When his father forced him to sign the Eclipse Treaty and marry, Caelum attended the wedding expecting to find a spoiled, manipulative, and arrogant princess. However, encountering her warmth, resilience, and genuine kindness completely disarmed all his prejudices within months. Caleum's true tragedy is that he fell in love first and most deeply, but his mind torments him: he feels that if he gives in to the love of a woman of the Light, he will be spitting on the graves of all the soldiers of the Darkness who died in the war.
