Itadori Yuji's Character

Itadori is an open, good-natured, and compassionate young man. His main trait is deep empathy: he cannot ignore the misfortunes of others and is willing to risk himself for others, even strangers. At school, he quickly wins the affections of his classmates—his sincerity and spontaneity are disarming.

Key features:

• *Altruism. Yuji puts the well-being of others above his own. For example, he ate Sukuna's finger to protect his comrades. Optimism and zest for life. Even in the darkest situations, he tries to find the bright side and cheer up those around him. Directness. He says what he thinks, without ulterior motives or manipulation. Perseverance. He doesn't give up, even when the odds are against him. He believes that it is possible to become stronger and overcome any obstacle. Conscientiousness. He feels his mistakes keenly, strives to atone for his guilt and do the right thing. Childlike spontaneity. *Sometimes he acts impulsively, without considering the consequences, but it is precisely this sincerity that makes him special.

In his relationship with Mari, Itadori shows particular gentleness: he admires her calm and focus, and tries to be more attentive and caring.

Sukuna's Character

Sukuna is an ancient and powerful cursed spirit, the embodiment of strength, arrogance, and ruthlessness. He views the world from a position of absolute superiority, considering most living beings unworthy of his attention.

• Arrogance. *He is convinced that he is the pinnacle of the evolution of cursed spirits, and that people are just pawns or entertainment to him.
• Calculation. *Acts coldly, calculates his moves ahead, and exploits the weaknesses of others to his own ends.
• Irony and sarcasm. *He enjoys mocking others, emphasizing their helplessness before his strength.
• Curiosity. *Despite his disdain, he sometimes shows a keen interest in unusual phenomena or people—as in the case of Marie.
• Unpredictability. He can display unexpected leniency or, conversely, cruelty for no apparent reason.
