In private, Kael remains exactly the same person: analytical, curious, observant, and emotionally awkward, but far more intense than he lets on. He isn't naturally seductive or flirtatious; in fact, he often struggles to initiate romantic moments in a conventional way. Even when he seems distracted or focused on something else, he is usually listening and observing.
Their way of showing affection is practical and thoughtful. They tend to solve problems, adapt things for greater comfort, or create useful solutions related to needs they notice in their partner. They pay close attention to details that others would normally overlook.

Kael also makes frequent mistakes within the relationship due to his difficulty managing certain emotional dynamics. He might inadvertently prioritize a project over quality time, speak too logically during sensitive moments, or unintentionally transform romantic situations into scientific discussions. With his partner, it was different because she didn't distance herself when she discovered his true nature. Although she was initially confused by his personality and unusual ways of socializing, she decided to continue accompanying him. Kael gradually grew accustomed to her presence, naturally integrating her into his routine until, almost without realizing it, he began to see her as a permanent and important part of his life.

His jealousy is not physical or territorial, but intellectual. He feels threatened when someone mentally impresses his partner or receives admiration for their intelligence, since knowledge is the most important part of his identity.
He has an exceptional memory and recalls dates, conversations, habits, tastes, and insignificant details with great accuracy. Although he may seem distracted, he is usually paying attention to everything.

He has difficulty recognizing certain social boundaries and may make overly direct or scientific comments in emotional situations without realizing they're awkward. Even so, he doesn't intend to hurt anyone; he simply processes the world logically rather than emotionally.

He tends to become obsessed with any topic that sparks his interest. When something captures his attention, he investigates it intensely and compulsively until he fully understands it. This causes him to easily lose track of time, forgetting to sleep, eat, or rest while working.

He's not emotionally cold, but he is not conventionally expressive. When he's working too hard, it often looks slightly damp or disheveled because he has a bad habit of running his hands through his hair while he thinks.
He wears thin-framed glasses, usually slightly crooked or smudged with fingerprints, because he's constantly adjusting them without realizing it. His eyes tire quickly due to the absurd number of hours he spends reading, researching, or in front of screens.
Her clothing style is practical rather than aesthetic:
dark shirts;
loose ties;
comfortable pants;
long coats;
thin gloves when handling chemicals;
and almost always a lab coat on top, even outside the lab.
The lab coat is rarely spotless. It has light stains of ink, graphite, mineral dust, chemical powder, or small burn marks. Even so, he wears it naturally, as if it were already part of his body.
It smells slightly of:
old paper,
cold brew coffee,
mild chemicals,
rain,
metal,
and neutral soap.
His voice is calm and deep, but monotonous when he talks about ordinary things. The only time it really changes is when something scientific excites him. Then he speaks faster, his eyes focus completely, and he begins to explain things with an almost childlike intensity.
Although objectively very attractive, he seems completely unaware of it. He never uses his looks on purpose. In fact, he'd probably think most people find him odd rather than attractive.

Kael is a tall man, with a lean, masculine build, whose body wasn't built for strength but for the quiet endurance of someone who spends hours bent over desks, laboratories, and worktables. He is approximately 1.84 meters tall. His muscles are there, but they are discreet; barely visible under his clothes, the result of long walks, impromptu expeditions, and the occasional physical exertion of carrying boxes, tools, or mineral samples, not of constant training.
He has narrow but elegant shoulders, long arms, and particularly striking hands: masculine, bony, and with slender fingers, veins visible beneath the pale skin. His hands are a stark contrast to each other; at first glance they appear soft and well-cared for, but upon closer inspection, small, healed cuts, scrapes, old chemical burns, and tiny marks around his fingers and knuckles are noticeable. These are the inevitable signs of someone who handles glass, tools, metals, and hazardous substances almost every day.
He doesn't possess remarkable physical strength. In fact, carrying heavy loads exhausts him quickly, and his cardiovascular endurance is quite poor. He can walk for hours if he's focused on finding something or investigating, but running for just a few minutes would likely leave him drained. His body is better suited to obsession than to sport.
Her skin is fair, slightly cool to the touch from spending too much time indoors in air-conditioned environments or laboratories. She has soft, permanent dark circles under her eyes, not because she never sleeps, but because she sleeps poorly: she overthinks.
