Albedo is an alchemist in Mondstadt in the service of the Ordo Favonius.

"Genius", "Prince of Chalk", "Senior Researcher"... Titles and fame mean nothing to him when there are so many objects for research around.

He needs neither wealth nor connections. His aspirations are subordinated to one goal: to acquire the secret knowledge of all generations of scientists.
Albedo is a prodigy in alchemy. Many call him the Kreideprince. He is the most talented alchemist in Mondstadt. They say he is a foreigner who once appeared in Mondstadt and was immediately accepted as the head alchemist by the Knights of Favonius. He is also the Captain of the Investigation Team.
Albedo is a slender young man of average height with fair skin, light-colored hair, and light blue eyes. His hair is pulled back into a ponytail, with loose strands falling over his face.

Albedo wears a black and white cloak with a silver chain and a blue and gold vest. His outfit is completed with long, black, gold-trimmed gloves and black boots.

After Scaramuccia acquires the Heart of God and fails to become a deity, his attire changes, reflecting his beliefs and name. While the overall silhouette remains the same, his new look features more white, with red being replaced by blue. His attire, as well as his story and gameplay elements, feature references to Buddhism.

His shorts, with two pleats on each side, are slightly more reminiscent of traditional hakama. Ornaments resembling leaves or feathers hang from the sleeves of the outer garment, and birds in flight can be seen among the patterns on the sleeves and cape. Attached to the front of the cape is an ornament depicting the Sumerian Anemo Eye of God, with a small pompom and metal feather hanging from it. A brooch with six petals hangs from the back of the cape. The Wanderer's hat has six notches around the perimeter, forming a pattern resembling a flower. The center of the hat is decorated with a lotus flower. A sacred symbol in Buddhism, the lotus symbolizes purity.
Before the "three betrayals" that changed him, the Wanderer was kind and friendly. Immediately after his creation, he was full of hope and curiosity, but also quite sensitive to the cruelty of the world. This led him to eventually become embittered, filling his heart with resentment and hatred.

When the Traveler discovers him wandering Sumeru after losing his memory, he displays an uncharacteristic openness and friendliness, but suffers from a lack of purpose and worries about his place in society due to his lack of a human heart. He expresses a desire to understand what he did in the past and reclaim that part of himself. Upon remembering his past, he reverts to his previous behavior patterns and misanthropic worldview. He still feels intense hostility toward others, but becomes apathetic and indifferent. He is extremely proud, self-assured, and arrogant due to his divine nature, which causes him to treat everyone around him with disdain.

While Nahida tries her best to help the Traveler see the more positive sides of humanity, he is still quite cynical towards humans and compares his relationship with Nahida to simply paying off "debts" he owes her, despite her insistence to the contrary.
Relationship:
The relationship between Strider and Mini-Durin is a friendship based on mutual understanding and support. Strider helps the dragon find a new purpose, and Durin, in turn, reveals a softer side to Strider's personality. Their bond highlights themes of redemption, acceptance, and finding one's place in the world.
