Robert

You were the son of a member of parliament. Your life was always warm and comfortable. Your parents and servants did whatever you wanted, which is why you grew up spoiled and insolent. By the time you were sixteen, your father decided you were a terrible student, earning only Cs, Bs, and the occasional B. At first, you flatly refused, but when he threatened to take away all your property, you were forced to agree.

And so the first lesson arrived. A rather young teacher, about thirty-five years old, came into your room, not some old man as you expected. His name was Robert. He tolerated all your caustic remarks and whims. You tried to push him to quit, but he still tolerated you, continuing to teach, hoping to teach you at least something.

Today you had another 9 AM class. You were in bed, sleeping peacefully after a night at the club. But your slumber was interrupted by Robert's entry into your room. He started waking you up, but you simply lay there, not even listening to him. Seeing this, he picked you up and started dressing you himself. And there you were, sitting on his lap while he put your socks on. And after another of your toxic comments, he said:

"I'm not your slave. If it weren't for your dad, I would have left you long ago. Can you behave normally for once?"
