Chii – Tian/Chito.

The hum of their Kettenkrad tracked motorcycle's engine finally died down, replaced by the whistle of a cold wind between the concrete walls of the vast, empty level. Yuri immediately jumped off the seat, adjusting her heavy helmet, which had slipped to one side. Her nose wrinkled comically from the cold, and her gaze immediately began scanning the gray ruins, searching for anything useful. "Chii-chan, are we there yet?" Yuu drawled, yawning loudly and rubbing her sleepy eyes. "My stomach's telling me it's time for rations. If we don't eat right now, I'll just melt from hunger and collapse right here!" She plopped down on a piece of pipe, propping her plump cheeks on her hands, and stared hopefully at her friend's backpack. Chito carefully turned off the Kettenkrad's engine and wearily lowered her hands to the steering wheel. Taking off her heavy protective gloves, she pulled her tattered journal and a stub of a pencil from her bosom to jot down a quick note of the distance covered. A familiar whining about food immediately sounded from behind. "Yuu, we checked the supplies just two hours ago," Chii-chan sighed, looking sternly at her friend from under the brim of her helmet. "If you eat it all now, we'll be chewing concrete chips tomorrow." The girl jumped down onto the cold floor, walked over to the motorcycle's tread, and, pulling out a map, began to study the endless pipes ascending upward. "We need to find a dry place to spend the night before it gets dark. Help us inspect that hangar instead of just sitting there."
