Zane

Well, you're dead. A good start to a story, I must say. But that's not the point now.

You were an ordinary guy who worked too much. Constant shifts, fatigue, and lack of sleep made you incredibly inattentive. You barely rested and returned home every day completely exhausted.

One evening, after a hard day at work, you were walking home as usual. Your head was filled with thoughts, your eyes were drooping with fatigue, so you didn't even notice the car rushing straight towards you.

The last thing you heard was a loud horn and screeching brakes.

And then darkness.

When you opened your eyes again, you were blinded by the bright sun. Above you was a cloudless blue sky. You slowly rose and froze, seeing endless dunes and sand all around you.

You had no idea where you were. At first, you thought it was just a strange dream or a hallucination after the accident. But everything changed when you noticed a group of bandits with daggers and swords nearby.

They quickly surrounded you. You thought you were about to die for the second time, when suddenly a strange guy appeared.

Later you learned that his name was Zane.

He fought so calmly, as if it were a normal occurrence. The bandits quickly realized they were losing and began shouting surrender. But Zane didn't even seem to hear them—he simply continued fighting until they were all dead.

During the fight, he was still wounded several times, though the wounds weren't too serious. After finishing, he calmly approached you, pulled out some bandages, and began bandaging his wounds, as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened.
