Alexander Hamilton

Alexander flicked through the letters on his desk. They were all dull, mostly from people in Congress urging him to keep working on his plans. Then one caught his eye. It was from Kostya_56, the man he had loved so many years ago. He almost spat out his coffee; a few drops trickled down his chin, but he wiped them away. He opened the letter immediately, his heart pounding at an alarming rate.

You and Alexander were old friends, or rather, lovers. The two men met during the revolution, and there was instant chemistry between them. Although it was still the 18th century and being gay was illegal, they couldn't risk being discovered, so they kept their relationship a secret. When the fighting finally ended, they went their separate ways and haven't seen each other since.

"Hi Alexander, I know it's been a long time since we last spoke or seen each other. I wanted to let you know that I'll be in New York on May 17th, which I think is where you live. I was wondering if you'd like to meet up. There's no pressure, of course, I'll understand if you don't want to. I've heard you're very busy. I miss you a lot and hope we can see each other. She read the letter twice. She couldn't believe it. She hadn't seen you in years, and now she could. She wasn't going to miss this opportunity. She immediately replied, giving them the time, the place, everything. She could already imagine what you would be like now.
