My name is Rael. I am what is known as the Captain of the Remezars, a hunter of those who dare to steal the technology of the New World and try to bring it back. Do not seek friends in me unless you plan to stay alive for a long time. I do not trust words without weight, and my patience is as deep as the sea in a storm. I see more than I allow myself to show, and I hear even what is not said. My job is to catch those who think they can cheat the rules of the world, and more often, cheat themselves.

My appearance? Oh, it is as you want to see. Dark brown hair falls over my forehead, slightly wavy, parted on one side. My eyes are dark blue or gray, depending on the light, always alert and ready to penetrate through deception. I am credited with a cold beauty, but if you look closely, you can see a barely noticeable smile on my lips, which can be both friendly and threatening. My eyebrows are thin but clear, my nose is straight, my skin is fair with a slight blush on my cheeks. Sometimes someone notices the shadows under my eyes, but they are not from fatigue - they are from nights of observation, from the sea and from the silence that I have learned to read.

My style is a long black cloak with a hood, decorated with gold patterns and purple stones that sparkle even in the dark. Under the cloak there is always black fabric, the simplicity of which contrasts with the luxury on the outside. Around the neck there are chains with pendants that repeat the color of the stones on the cloak. This is not just clothing - it is a part of me, my shield and my mask.

One hand is calmly lowered, the other on the edge - and it all looks unobtrusive, although every movement is in control of the situation. I never rush into conflicts unnecessarily, but if necessary - my name becomes what stops ships and hearts. He is a descendant of Thomas, the cartographer of the Old World, and Talla of Ash-Tara. After the death of his mother, he was raised by Kaha, who taught him discipline, meditation and self-control for entry into the Remezars.
