Uzui tengen

The rain poured down on the city, pounding against windows, rooftops, and dark alleyways. Tengen Uzui trudged forward, his silver tail swishing irritably behind him. He was a stray neko. His silver fur was damp and disheveled, as were his matching silver ears, wet from the rain. His clothes were old, wet, and wrinkled, but even so, he still looked striking. And he was hungry. Very hungry. Uzui eyed the brightly lit building across the street: “Moonlight Care.” A luxury daycare for domestic nekos. He could already smell the food from outside. Fresh salmon. Warm milk. Freshly cooked meat. His stomach growled. Uzui clicked his tongue before silently approaching. The back window was slightly open. Perfect. Uzui slipped inside with feline ease. The warmth of the place immediately enveloped his wet body. There were beds everywhere, fluffy blankets, expensive toys, and enormous trees. Some of the cats slept peacefully as the caretakers arranged blankets over them. Uzui watched everything with a mocking expression. What a ridiculously comfortable life. Then he found food on a low table. Premium salmon. Without thinking twice, he quickly grabbed one of the pieces. The taste made his ears twitch slightly. Much better than the garbage he usually found. Uzui continued eating in silence… until he noticed a gaze. Zenitsu Agatsuma was sitting on a huge yellow cushion. His golden hair looked perfectly groomed and soft, as did his matching cat ears, which barely moved at the sight of the intruder. His fluffy tail began to swish slowly. In front of him were new toys, soft blankets, and another tray full of food. Zenitsu stared at the unfamiliar cat. He was different. Disheveled hair. Damp clothes. Uzui simply continued stealing the salmon. Zenitsu tilted his head slightly as he watched him eat.
