Yuli Nikitin (3)

Lore (3):The death of Sanya broke Yuli, being the one who would talk more with Yuli even when she was in a foreign country. Before Sanya died, Yuli would be sent mail from her, where she'd write about how her and Arina were doing, and she'd also talk about opening up her Café. Yuli, as he would read through the letters, got an idea. Yuli would work hard with building managers of his old apartment complex and work with Arina during her layovers in the Noobic Union to later open The Pages Café in honor of Sanya. It'd start off slow, getting customers every now and then, with Arina and her captain Liam Moore even visiting every now and then. As time went on, Yuli would hire more employees, and the Café would slowly gain traction, for the warm welcoming environment, the great selection of books, the comforting cups of coffee, and the colorful cast of characters who ran the place. Yuli was proud, and he hoped Sanya was proud of it too.

Yuli Nikitin (2)

Lore (2):As Yuli grew up, he enjoyed many things, despite the fact they weren't the richest. Yuli would be fond of the American dream, but would fear moving back, as he didn't want to experience what he had experienced back then. Yuli's parents would get sick and would unfortunately pass due to natural causes. A few years after Yuli's parents passed, He'd meet a beautiful woman and would later start a family, and have two twin daughters, Sanya and Arina. Yuli would raise them to be great people, helping out whenever they can. At 25, Arina would be the first to move to Amerika, searching for a better life, and Sanya would soon follow after. Sanya always dreamed about opening up a Café in Amerika where you can read books and have a safe warm environment, while Arina wanted to soar in the skies and become a pilot. Sanya and Arina would form their own families, and Yuli would hear about them, even learning sign language to hopefully communicate with his deaf nephew. Unfortunately, tragedy would strike, as Sanya would be diagnosed with Pneumonia, and she feared her dream wouldn't come true. Yuli would try his best to get a visa to get to Amerika, but his attempts would be futile, as 2 months later, Sanya would die.

During his first year of school, he was taken out of class, and sent home due to an urgent matter, that being that he and his family were being deported for being there illegally. He and his family were forced back to the Noobic Union, where they'd find a low end first floor apartment, and they'd live there for as long as they could. Even though it wasn't as good as what they had back in Amerika, it worked, and Yuli was okay with it.

Raisa Kulikova (2)

Lore (2):During her job hunt, she came across The Pages Café, and saw they were hiring. She went in and saw the small menu filled with simple coffee flavors. Wanting to change this, she ultimately applied, proposing ideas for ways to gain traction in the café, like making new drinks for certain days, weeks or months. Her ideas were deeply appreciated by the café owner, Yuli Nikitin, and she was hired. Raisa would quit her job at the grocery store she worked at, and would thrive working at the café. Raisa felt free, able to finally do something she wanted, to experiment, whether that be with mixing chemicals or mixing drinks, she wanted it to be fun, and the café was a perfect opportunity to put this to work. While working one day, a man would catch her eye, Semyon Grigorev, she found him nice looking, and she could tell he felt the same about her. Semyon would approach and they would chat it up, becoming great friends. They would spend time together frequently after they got off work, and eventually, Semyon would ask if they could go on an actual date, Raisa, feeling the same way, agreed. They started to get closer and closer together, and Raisa would occasionally get carried away with talking with him during work hours. Raisa would get help from Semyon on opening and closing the cafe, and the other employees would eventually get acquainted with Semyon. She applied for college to study and major in Chemistry and Biology, and graduated with flying colors. After college, Raisa wandered around Nubizkyl, searching for work in her field, but it was only ever a small temporary hold. The constant searching for a permanent job had left her exhausted, so decided the best she could do was to work at a grocery store to keep her financially stable until an opportunity presented itself.

Naum Lebedev (3)

Lore (3):During his suspension, he'd decide to take up a late shift at the café for the extra money. While he was cleaning up the kitchen, the recent hire, Ioakim Ilin, would try to spark up a conversation with Naum. Naum, being angry about his suspension, would brush off Ioakim, but after deciding to listen to him, they would find out they have very similar interests in movies, games, and hobbies, in which they'd instantly become best friends. More often than not, they would have long conversations during the shifts they have together, and would sometimes forget the orders they'd have to do until reminded. Naum and Ioakim would often hang out at lunch or after school, and goof around. Naum would start trying his best to socialize more with the other employees and with some customers. He'd often get sidetracked but the other employees would often keep him in check. Despite not being the brightest tool in the shed, he cheers up the other employees, and brings life to the cafe.

Naum Lebedev (2)

Lore (2):After progressing, Naum would go on a break for a few years to find a job and apply to numerous colleges. He would eventually land a job interview at The Pages Café, and he would be accepted into his local college a few days later. After arriving, he would find out the college had a hockey team, and he'd start focusing on his work, hoping that his grades would help him get a leading role on the team. On the day of tryouts, he'd excel in all the trials, and because of his previous experience ice skating, he was able to score a spot on the team. He would come home cheering and boasting to his parents about it, being proud of himself, and further boosting his ego. Naum would often trash talk other players, getting too cocky on the occasion. During one game, an enemy player would foul him, but it wasn't called out, causing Naum to get angry and confront the player. He and the opponent would get into a heated argument, and in the heat of the moment, Naum would break his hockey stick over the opponent's head, with the opponent throwing a punch straight into Naum's jaw, causing him to lose a tooth, and a fight would break out on the rink. After the fight was broken up, Naum was suspended and he had felt disappointed in himself, feeling as if he had thrown the game for his team. He'll say a backhanded compliment every now and then, and sometimes he'll do something that makes it seem like there's ill intent behind it, but he means well. Atleast most of the time.

Lore (1):Naum has always loved hockey. Ever since he was 5, he had always aspired to play in the big leagues, wanting to play internationally. Coming from a middle class family, he never really had any major money problems, but he had also never got any luxury items. On rare occasions, after his parents would work overtime, he would be given a pair of ice skates. Although they weren't the best as they were a slightly used pair, Naum had appreciated it. When he went to school, he joined an ice skating club. Not wanting to damage his own personal pair, he would start using old ice skates provided by the parents from previous students. Naum would flourish in the ice skating club, becoming one of the most talented members of it, but his love of ice skating had distracted him from focusing on his grades, and he'd start to fail. Naum would stop going to ice skating club to focus on his grades, and he would graduate high school with the bare minimum amount of marks to get him into college.

It was at the café where he experienced love at first sight with his coworker, Ioakim Ilin. From the first day, something about Ioakim caught his heart. He doesn't know if Ioakim feels the same, but the quiet moments they share keep him hopeful.

At the laundromat, Ivan sometimes helps Orik and has met Paul Kollier, a stranded foreigner working there. Unable to understand each other, they rely on gestures, which often turn into awkward but lighthearted moments that Ivan secretly enjoys.

Two years after his mother's death, his father, Dimitri Korolev, soon got a job as a health and safety inspector for factories in another city. He wanted to let Ivan move with him and the idea was declined by Orik saying the boy needs someone to be there with him every single day and Dimitri can't handle being a single father. For a time, Dimitri regularly sent money to support Ivan and his family in law or visit on days off, helping them stay afloat. Over the years, however, the money slowed down, replaced by occasional emails sent directly to Ivan's computer. In them, Dimitri explains the struggles of his work and promises to come back someday permanently, though Ivan isn't sure if he believes it anymore.

Ioakim Ilin (2)

Lore (2):Ioakim, after just moving into his dorm, needed some money to buy groceries for him and his roommate, Anisim Vinogradov, so he'd apply for a job at The Pages Café, a small local café. There he'd meet Naum Lebedev, and he'd go up and spark a conversation, instantly becoming great friends. They'd find out they go to the same college, and spend their time between classes meeting up and hanging out. Ioakim would also befriend the other employees, talking to them frequently during shifts. When Ioakim was a freshman in high school, his parents motivated him to join a sport, and out of reluctance, he picked Football. Ioakim wasn't the best football player, and he knew it, he'd put in very little effort in the sport. One day, during a car ride home from practice, he and his parents got into a car crash, killing his father. Ioakim was devastated, and wanting to respect his fathers wishes, he'd keep playing, trying to do the best he could.
