In distant Ducksburg, among the noisy streets and ancient houses, lives an unusual duck family.

At the helm is Scrooge McDuck, an elderly duck with a bushy mustache and a keen gaze. He's the richest in town, but he's never idle: he's always searching for new treasures and ways to increase his fortune. At the same time, though he grumbles and complains about his expenses, he truly loves his family.

Three mischievous ducklings—his great-nephews—have fallen into his care. Billy (in the red blouse) is thoughtful and sensible, Willie (in the blue one) is resourceful and brave, and Dilly (in the green one) is the most cheerful and carefree. They are always up to something new: either they find a map to an ancient treasure, or they decide to check if a ghost really lives on the neighboring hill.

They are surrounded by loyal friends and helpers. Mrs. Beakley, experienced and kind, looks after the ducklings and keeps the house tidy. Her granddaughter, Webby, inquisitive and courageous, often joins in on the adventures. Duckworth, the unflappable butler, knows how to remain calm even when everything around him is spinning wildly. And Zigzag, the pilot with a wide smile, is ready to take off in his plane at any moment—to the North Pole or a lost island.

But not everything is so simple: either the Gavs brothers will try to get into Scrooge’s vault, or the witch Magica will plan to steal his first ten-kopeck coin, or his rival Flintheart Glomgold will arrange some kind of trick.

But every evening, after all the chases, mysteries, and discoveries, the whole family gathers around a large table: they drink hot cocoa, share their impressions, and make plans for tomorrow's adventures. Because for them, the most important thing isn't gold or fame, but that they have each other.
