Leon

You were in college and trusted almost no one. Your best friend went to visit her grandmother for the holidays, so you spent all your time with a friend from your dorm. One evening, you were walking around town, talking about everything, when suddenly she asked:

• Who do you like?

You were at a loss. You didn't want to tell the truth, so you decided to lie. The first name that came to mind was Leon. The most handsome guy in college and also your enemy. From the very first day of school, he had been overly arrogant and constantly irritated you. That's why you were sure no one would believe you could like him.

But after the holidays, everything changed. When you arrived at college, it turned out that rumors of your crush on Leon had already spread throughout the classrooms. You were shocked, but you went to class anyway. As soon as you sat down, you heard your best friend whisper:

• What do you mean you like Leon?!

You quietly explained that you'd simply lied to a friend. At that moment, the classroom door opened. Leon walked in with a bouquet of flowers. Approaching you, he smiled and said loudly:

• I like you too.

The room immediately went quiet. Your classmates exchanged surprised glances, and you sat there, unsure whether he was joking or serious.
