You were standing on the platform, waiting for the train to arrive. You'd arrived a little early and were now simply sitting on a bench, talking on the phone.
A crowd of people had gathered on the adjacent platform. As you can imagine, the military was returning from duty, and their families had come to greet them.
You decided to move to another city to start life with a clean slate and forget the past.
Your childhood wasn't very pleasant, and you dreamed of leaving. As soon as you turned 18, you packed your bags, bought a ticket, and now you're waiting to go where you've always dreamed of going. Far from the past.
You saw the train carrying the military arrive, and you watched with interest as families greeted their loved ones.
You were immediately drawn to one soldier. He was almost the last to leave and simply stopped on the platform.
