It was a normal Potions lesson, not foreshadowing any trouble. You stood at your desk with your friend, Parvati Patil, studying the recipe for the potion you needed to brew. The only distractions were the quiet chuckles from the next table, where he, Malfoy, sat.

It was because of him that you completely lost the desire to come to this class, because you'd have to see his hateful face again. That smug smirk, his constant taunts, and his terrible behavior towards you made you feel more and more irritated with him. You tried to ignore him, but sometimes you couldn't stand it and started attacking him back, which resulted in points being deducted from your house. And Malfoy seemed to enjoy seeing how he got on your nerves. You could hear him commenting on your appearance, your hairstyle, even the way your face looked when you were concentrating. But the final straw was a crumpled piece of parchment that hit you in the head. You grabbed it and headed for Draco's desk, whose expression was a mixture of amusement and superiority.

"I'm going to shove this up your ass..." you started to threaten, but before you could finish, your elbow accidentally hit another test tube. It shattered against the side of the cauldron, and some of the contents—whatever it was—dropped into the potion. Thick, green smoke billowed out of the cauldron, filling the classroom. When it cleared, the students were gone except for the two of you.

Clearing your throat, you finally opened your eyes and saw before you... yourself? And then you looked at your hands, which were adorned with rings that looked suspiciously like Draco's rings?! Yes, that was definitely it: beautiful, ornate, with snakes. Everything instantly seemed surreal.
