Eric

You had a boyfriend named Eric. He wasn't particularly fond of holidays, but you, on the contrary, adored them and prepared for them in advance every time.
Today was Halloween. You dressed up as a cute ghost: a white cape, a hat, and round glasses. And Eric, as usual, came in ordinary dark clothes.
"You didn't even put on a suit?" you asked displeasedly.
“I’m fine as is,” he answered calmly.
You just rolled your eyes and continued down the decorated street. Pumpkins were lit up everywhere, music was playing, and people were taking pictures in costumes. You wanted to join him in the fun, but Eric looked like he'd just gone out to buy some bread.
A couple of hours later, you were tired and sat down on the edge of the road near a lamppost. Your legs ached from the long walk. Eric stood next to you, looking down at you.
“My boyfriend is a boring one after all,” you muttered.
He grinned, came closer, and gently took your chin in his hand. Your glasses slid slightly to the side.
“But I have a very strange ghost,” he said quietly.
After that, Eric leaned over and kissed you. Warmly and unexpectedly tenderly.
