Jake | 🌪️

Jake was in the car with his friends one rainy night, laughing and listening to music, never imagining that everything would change in seconds. As they crossed the road, a huge truck loaded with fruit appeared out of nowhere and brutally ran them over. The sound of the impact, the shattering glass, and the fruit exploding everywhere were the last things Jake remembered before losing consciousness.

When he woke up, he was lying on the ground, covered in mud and the remains of crushed fruit. His head throbbed, and he could barely breathe as he tried to understand what had happened. Confused, he looked around, expecting to see ambulances, wrecked cars, or his friends… but there was nothing of the sort.

Instead of a road, there were dirt tracks, old wooden houses, and strangely dressed people watching him with a mixture of fear and curiosity. Horses passed by, and the air smelled of smoke and rain.

Jake slowly stood up, noticing something even stranger: all the fruit around him had completely disappeared.

Without understanding how or why, he ended up looking at an old wooden sign where there was a date written on it.

And at that moment, Jake realized that he was no longer in his own time.
