Vladislav was so expressionless that he was expressive in a strange way. When he was a child, his family and those close to him used to call him by the affectionate Russian diminutive nickname "Vladik". His parents broke up when he was around ten years old. Following a severe head injury that left his father disabled and struggling with alcoholism, his mother moved out with Vladislav. He lived with his mother in a small, low-income apartment and only occasionally visited his father and grandparents. He was a huge fan of video games. He spent a massive amount of his free time playing shooting games and tactical simulators. He showed a strong preference for rock music and heavily shared punk rock songs.
