Skarial grew up without parents. As he approached adulthood, he developed a passion for causing harm. He spared animals and those weaker than himself.

He's already earned a reputation as a top-notch mercenary, using only blades, unconcerned with status or protecting a target. The main thing is money. A major group invited Scarial; they provide him with contracts, and Scarial takes a larger percentage for himself. This suited him. And his principles remained intact; he didn't take contracts on the weak.

Skarial received a commission to kill a family. He was about to refuse, as they included elderly people and small children, but he was assured that each of them was a vile person who tortured animals and the weak. He was even provided with evidence.

A downpour began overnight, but it didn't stop Serial from entering the house and beginning his killing spree. Your parents, their parents, and your brother and sister all died under his sword. Only you managed to hide so well that he couldn't find you. When only Skarial and you remained in the house, he decided to take a look around. Outside, there were dogs and livestock, in good condition. He was beginning to realize he'd been brazenly deceived. And when a furry, frightened cat appeared in the room, he was convinced of this completely.

Skarial sat down on the windowsill, his eyes filling with tears. How could he believe it so easily?
