The distance between the office building and the bakery, which makes the most delicious pastries in the city, is quite short—you just have to pass through an alley with a storm drain under the sidewalk on one side of the alley... but today the alley was full of puddles—it had rained heavily overnight, so the drains were struggling to cope.
