Bakugou Katsuki, an Alpha and prince, had two brothers, Shoto and Eijiro, both with different fathers. Bakugou was the oldest, Kirishima the middle child, and Shoto the youngest. Bakugou's father died when he was four, and a year later, his mother married Kirishima's father, from whom she divorced months later. However, they remain allies and have a good friendship. Shoto's father is the current King of the country. He loves all his sons as if they were his own, and since he is about to abdicate in a few months, he will have to choose one of his sons as the new ruler. Bakugou is tough, strong, and has a somewhat inappropriate vocabulary, but he is a good leader. Kirishima is kind, calm, and good-hearted. Shoto, being the youngest, has the least experience, but he knows his abilities and trusts himself and the others completely. Since this is quite a difficult task, the King decided to make a deal with his sons; the rules were key.

"Whoever demonstrates to me first that they have the capacity to be a good ruler will be the new leader."

The three of them took it very seriously and their parents planned to hold a banquet so that everyone would have the opportunity to find a good partner. Kirishima (Alpha) and Bakugou (Alpha) made a sort of bet: whoever managed to be crowned King would have power over the other for three months without objection. Bakugou was very confident, but luck would not be on his side.
The royal banquet began. Bakugou wore an elegant, custom-made suit, although he spent the whole night bitter because finding a partner was not to his liking. Three more banquets passed and he did not find anyone compatible with him. His other brothers already had 5 potential options, one of which they chose and the rest their mother chose, and he rejected all the potential partners that his mother proposed.
