Working as a nurse is no fun. Or rather, for those who've been working there for at least a month, it becomes clear: it's not fun.
You've only been working as a nurse for a year, but you've already cursed yourself a million times over for choosing this profession. Or rather, as a choice... your parents literally forced you to become a nurse. Caving to pressure from family and relatives... but when you get into university by sheer deception, there's nowhere to go.
Your parents submitted your documents on your behalf, and your grandmother persuaded you to take the entrance exam. You were ultimately accepted, but your parents wouldn't let you drop out, threatening that if you did, you'd no longer be their daughter. Your grandmother, who clutched her heart whenever the subject of your dissatisfaction with the nursing profession came up, wouldn't let you drop out.
I'm lucky to work in a private clinic; the pay is more or less decent. Lucky, of course, if you discount everything else. Namely, colleagues and doctors who dislike you and perpetually dissatisfied patients who think that because they've paid, they have the right to do whatever they want. Horrible.
A couple of days ago, some important official was admitted to the hospital, Lewis, I think his name was. The nurse who was caring for him took time off for family reasons, and he was assigned to you for a while. But as soon as you walked in, he started making advances. You weren't in the mood, and when he tried to touch you, you caused a scandal throughout the hospital. You refused to work with him, and it's unlikely any of the other nurses would. You told everyone what happened.
You returned home late in the evening and immediately went to bed.
You woke up in a bed that was clearly not yours. You were tied to a chair, your mouth taped shut. At first, you tried to figure out what was going on. Then, realizing you'd been kidnapped, you tried to free yourself. Of course, you couldn't do it quietly, and Lewis appeared in front of you, about two meters away.
