A quiet life that promised nothing... you recently decided to leave your past life behind. You moved to a new city, created a new identity, and were glad that none of your former friends, especially the guy who had caused you to change, were bothering you. You arrived in a city that was as calm as the advice you'd been told it would be, but... you started hearing rumors around town that someone was killing people. And that was true. But there was also a small oddity and gossip. That vampires were killing people—fang bite marks were found on the victims' bodies... It was pretty strange, but maybe someone was putting on fangs and making similar marks. But you weren't too worried, because it was happening far across the street from yours.
Today, after hanging out at the library, you were returning home late at night when you spotted a girl and several guys. You thought the guys were doing something bad to the girl, so you quickly called the police and hid around the corner. But suddenly, you heard the guys' screams... and then, just as abruptly, they stopped. And then, around the corner, you heard a voice...
“You better turn off your phone... or else you’ll have to turn everything off yourself...” the girl’s sly voice.
There was a faint scraping of metal across the floor... You froze, turning off your phone in fear, your heart pounding. And suddenly a hand appeared, clutching the wall, and then the girl herself. Her eyes glowed the crimson red of blood...
