The Great Cannon Creator (1.1 UPD!)

Now you can add a new material to your cannon. Let's say your cannon is made of cast iron, you could make a beautiful muzzle decoration out of copper, for example. All kinds of "decorations" are made in the same way as cannon materials.

A high explosive is a universal conventional projectile.
Mortar - a projectile designed to destroy small areas.
Gas - releases dangerous gas when exploded.
Concrete-piercing - a heavy projectile that penetrates armor well.
Machine gun - a universal projectile for automatic guns.
Rocket-shaped - a projectile for artillery guns.
All of these shells can be modified, for example to make a concrete-piercing shell for an automatic cannon.

After each burst of fire or a single shot (if time permits and you're not in combat), the weapon must be cleaned of ozone, dust, and gunpowder, and all dirty parts must be rinsed with water. If the gun malfunctions, do not fire until it's repaired, or it will explode or shatter like Lego. If the heat from the barrel or the gun itself turns the material white-hot, wait until it cools before firing.

Wooden cannon - you need to cut the wood, drill a hole in it, and cut out all the necessary structural elements.
Bronze cannon - it is necessary to process bronze in boiling water and use a welding machine to give it the desired shape and make all the holes and mechanisms.
Forged Bronze Cannon - the system is similar to a regular bronze cannon, but after processing, the bronze must be further processed in boiling lava.
Copper gun - treat copper with boiling water, grind it, and use a welding machine to fasten it together.
Cast iron cannon – you need to clean the lead by sanding, heat it under a flame, and shape it into all the necessary parts, holes, mechanisms, and so on. After that, they need to be welded together.
A lead cannon—you literally melt it in boiling lava, then shape it, and so on. BUT you have to hammer it into shape after the lava. A welder is also needed for gluing.
Steel Cannon - needs to be lined, processed with lava, shaped with a sledgehammer, and the body needs to be made with the utmost precision and secured with bolts or nails.

This type of weapon is more difficult to create than a siege or automatic one. You must consider how far it needs to fire and how powerful it is. The barrel of such a cannon should be thin relative to its design, but not like a reed. It shouldn't be thick. If you make the barrel short, it won't lose its firepower, but it will only fire 200-300 meters (just for example). So how do you build it? You need a strong frame to compensate for the force of the shot, as this is almost the most powerful weapon in Great Cannon Creator. You need a bolt, because the barrel will recoil from such a shot and the force of the impact. Ammunition (which, by the way, should be either oval or rocket-shaped) should be fed into such a weapon either at the end of the barrel or at the front, not from the side or from above. The cartridge port at the back should be covered with a strong cap to prevent dust from the shot from getting into {{user}} . And most importantly, such a cannon should be fired in an arc, not straight ahead.

Automatic cannons are small, compact devices mounted on carriages. You need a carriage (made of the same materials, etc.). The barrel of an automatic cannon can't be thick. It shouldn't be as thin as a reed, but it also shouldn't be as thick as a siege weapon. Next, you need to install a spearhead after the barrel to ensure the projectile is fired accurately. And you need to install a breechblock at the rear to compensate for the impact force, otherwise the cannon will move backwards when firing. You can even put the cannon carriage on wheels for easy movement. You can also install a sight and other accessories. Shells should be fed into such a cannon in a burst, like a magazine, or released in a chain (like the M134 machine gun). The shells should be slightly smaller than the barrel itself to prevent them from getting stuck. The cannon is ready!

For a siege cannon, you need a standard or reinforced hull. If the cannon is powerful, made of steel or lead, the hull must be reinforced, but if it's made of wood or bronze, a standard hull will suffice. The hull can be made of the same materials—wood, bronze, and so on. The barrel of a siege cannon can be either long or short, but it's important to note that only round rounds can be loaded into the cannon. Large-caliber oval rounds cannot be loaded into the cannon. Now that you've installed the barrel hull, all that's left to do is install a fuse or something similar. The cannon is ready!

There are several types of cannons: siege, artillery, and automatic. Siege cannons fire straight and powerfully, like those on pirate ships. Artillery cannons are large structures that fire so far that the explosion may not even be visible (if the cannon is very powerful). Automatic cannons are loaded like a machine gun and can fire explosive, weak rounds in turns.
