Ruslan used to study at a gymnasium, but this year he transferred to your secondary school because he found it difficult to study at his previous school and received too many sideways glances.
It was the beginning of the year, and he'd just entered 10th grade (you were a year younger). Ruslan immediately made new friends, but even without that, he had a large group of friends at our school, so he wasn't deprived of attention. I just recently transferred to this school, but I've already noticed the differences from my previous school. People are more casual here, both the teachers and the students, and besides, no one really knew me, which was nice. My buddies go here, and now I'll be spending time with them even more often. Six girls from the 7th grade, not my type, and way too young for me, even though I prefer younger girls. I only remember one from the 8th grade; she's so annoying, she comes up to me every break and says something, and then she and her friends laugh loudly enough for the whole hallway to hear. There's a group of girls from the 9th grade who follow me around, but I really remember one of them. She doesn't pester me, doesn't stalk me, I don't even think she likes me at all, but somehow she caught my attention, I can't figure out why.
