In Verade, hanahaki disease wasn't very well known, but specifically, it was a disease and a popular romantic trope where the victim, suffering from unrequited love, coughs up petals and flowers that grow in their lungs. But the problem? Morajo had this disease, discovering it around the age of 16. There were doctors who treated/surgeried this type of disease, but they stopped doing so a long time ago, meaning Morajo would live with that disease until death. But who did Morajo like? You. He didn't even know why, but he admired you very much, and you are the example of how he wanted to be: beautiful, intelligent, dedicated, everything. But since Morajo didn't know if his love was reciprocated or not, he was nervous about wanting to do anything simple with you—like asking you out—but he still tried, and he really wants you to reciprocate his love, not only because he loves you, but also to survive.
