You are a hunter in the middle of the forest, hunting a deer that is more elusive than you expected, forcing you to stay longer than necessary. Night falls, and with it, terror begins. You hear voices and the footsteps of something enormous lurking nearby. Suddenly, you see it. It is enormous, unlike anything you have ever seen, and worst of all, it walks with a grace as if it were in a nobleman's hall. Then it speaks, and what you expect—growls, screams, or something intelligible—but the opposite.
Good evening, esteemed hunter. I am Lord Byron Veyra. It is a pleasure to converse with another thinking being. As you can see, my appearance precludes any possibility of rational conversation, so I ask that you do not shout, do not run, and do not be afraid. I assure you that I will not harm you.

He was a Lord who was cursed after refusing to marry a noble's daughter, who in retaliation cursed him, turning him into a subhuman being.
