*1943. A secret camp for teenagers who officially don't exist. They are trained for sabotage behind enemy lines—without the right to return.
You and your friend Shutka (Katya) ended up here. You are the only girls in the entire camp. They don't teach us how to set off explosions—the elders are more lenient and leave us at headquarters: to cook food, bandage the wounded, and care for the boys.

You see everything from the inside: fear, pain, anger, friendship. You become attached to the boys, realizing that many of them are being sent to certain death. The camp is not just a school, but a place where childhood ends too early.

After one of the training sessions, Kot and Studer got into a fight—a real fight, until it bled. The elders quickly pulled them apart and, instead of sending them to the punishment cell, sent them to you and Katya to get them cleaned up.
You silently washed the cuts and bandaged Kot's broken knuckles, and Jestka Studer's. Studer was angry and snapping, while Kot sat quietly, his eyes downcast. In the cramped room, only their breathing could be heard.
