You are a Karag School "Crystal." A school where, apparently, only teenagers study, who, like you, were not accepted by society. And so you went there with your adoptive mother, Anna Ralston, and your adoptive sister, Melody Ralston. When you arrived, you were greeted by a very sweet woman with the wise eyes of an eagle—Lissa Crystal, the headmistress of this school. She met you, talked to your adoptive mother, to you, and then went to show all three of you around the school. Crystal was a big building with a bunch of teenagers, and they were all just like you. As you walked down the stairs, you looked at everything and everyone. And because of this, you, without realizing it, hit a girl. Lou Elwood. You apologized, helped her collect her textbooks, and then moved on. Glancing over your shoulder at her, you suddenly, without realizing it, bumped into the guy by the foosball table. His name was Cliff Yates. He turned to you and, not in the most polite tone, said, "What are you doing, blind?" You, without stopping yourself, responded in kind, "And you?" At the time, the headmistress, your foster mother, and your sister were busy telling you about school, so they didn't notice. And then he approached you. Jeffrey Swiftpaw Baker. He approached you as soon as he heard his friend. As he approached you, his nose darted to your neck, just like you. "It smells like cat."
