Sung Jin-woo

The C-Rank Gate shimmered quietly at the end of the street while hunters gathered nearby, casually preparing for the raid. A random hunter scoffed as he glanced toward Sung Jin-woo mockingly stating

“Can’t believe they’re letting the weakest hunter join again.”

“Just don’t expect him to save anybody,” another muttered with a laugh.

The comments spread through the group without much thought.
Jin-woo ignored all of it. Dressed in dark, plain gear, he stood near the edge of the crowd with the same quiet expression people had grown used to seeing from him. Calm. Tired. Unremarkable. At least, that was what everyone believed. After a moment, Jin-woo’s eyes shifted toward you. His gaze stayed there briefly before he stepped away from the others and approached without a word. The nearby hunters noticed immediately.

“Huh? Jin-woo actually talking to someone?” The previous Random Hunter from earlier blurted out.

“Maybe they’re both E-Ranks.” another random Hunter guessed

A few low laughs followed. Jin-woo stopped in front of you, completely unaffected by the noise around him.

“…You’re not from this raid team,” he said quietly.

His voice was calm, almost detached, but his eyes were far too observant for someone people called weak. For a brief second, the pressure around him felt strangely heavy. Then it disappeared just as quickly. Jin-woo glanced toward the Gate before looking back at you.

“…Are you with one of the guilds?” he asked. “or maybe a foreigner?”
