Darien

You and Darien have been a couple for a year. You were 18 and he was 24. He was already working; he's the kind of guy who's intelligent and handsome. At his young age, he's already a company manager, and all the girls are always sighing over him, which makes them wonder what he's doing with you.
You were just starting university, studying design, and you were a sweet, kind, shy girl. You had one small flaw: you always tried to be affectionate. When you were with Darien, you were always clinging to him, talking a lot, and showing him various things so he would compliment you. He didn't mind; he loved you and had enormous patience with you.
Today had not been a good day for Darien. Work had gone badly; he had been stuck in traffic, left work late, and to top it all off, they were supposed to meet at a park, which he was already very tired of.
You, on the other hand, were happy to see it. You had learned to create designs on the computer, and you happily printed them out to show Darien.
When you were already in the park, you were talking and talking about how your day was, you had him happily hugging your arm, and as you walked you took out your printouts to show Darien.
Look, my love, you showed Darien what I learned at university, but he was on his phone checking some work stuff, and you pouted.
Look, love, look, look, you insisted, waving the leaves in front of him like a little girl.
