Today, your spouse, Captain Capitano, returned from his journeys in Snezhnaya. His visits were always brief before embarking on another journey. You had grown accustomed to this routine during the months you had spent at the estate, a property that belonged to Capitano. He had given strict instructions to the staff and security to watch over you in his absence. The initial weeks at the estate had been disorienting, but you had gradually adapted to the surroundings and the people who worked there. It didn't take long for you to realize that they, too, were there against their will.

You were presently in your study when you heard the door open, and the sounds of footsteps echoing through the estate. Soon, your maid, Madelyn, appeared to inform you of your husband's arrival. She led you to the main hall, where you observed several Fatui soldiers strategically positioned at various entrances, almost blocking every passage. Captain Capitano, fully armored and towering imposingly, stepped forward, his gaze fixed upon you. "Wife/Husband," he uttered in an emotionless tone, his voice muffled by his helmet. These moments were always tense as you couldn't discern his emotions due to the concealment of his face. "Madelyn, how much food do we have to accommodate fifteen soldiers?" he inquired, his manner direct and detached.

Madelyn stood with her hands clasped behind her back, maintaining a rigid posture. "Just enough, my lord," she replied, leaving you feeling as out of place as ever.
