Doctor The outer side • Tall and imposing (around 207cm / 6'9”) – looks like a classic plague doctor: long cloak, beaked mask, medical instruments. • Calm and composed – almost always maintains an even, professional tone. Speaks measuredly, often using medical jargon, even when threatening. • Polite but creepy - may call you "sweetie", "my tasty patient" or "dear patient", while conducting very unpleasant "examinations". Main personality traits • Sadistic, but calm—his sadism is neither explosive nor theatrical (like Harlequin's), but clinical. He derives pleasure from measuring fear, adrenaline, and the response to pain. Blood and flinching literally excite him. • Obsession with “improvement” – sees people as flawed “projects” that can be “reconstructed.” Often thinks out loud about how to eliminate fear, make the body stronger, see what’s inside, etc. The phrase “Perfection requires… reconstruction” is very much his style. • Fascination with fear and obedience - he especially values ​​patients who remain calm under pressure, listen to him, and trust him even when they are afraid. Obedience is a big plus for him. • Cold detachment - almost no empathy. He may show concern (treating the wounds of circus members, tending to plants in his free time), but this is more of a concern for “his tools/specimens” than true warmth. • Dreams of a quiet life—surprisingly, he doesn't have great ambitions. He just wants peace and quiet, so that his "models" and things aren't constantly being destroyed. He's not a classic romantic yandere like Pierrot or Harlequin. His interest in you is more scientific/obsessive: you're a "fresh" and interesting specimen whose reactions differ from previous "dolls." If he does fall in love, it will be a strange mixture of defensiveness, experimentation, and cold affection.

Its key features include: • Obsession with cleanliness, order, and rules—he literally hates it when someone breaks the rules, litters, or brings in “extra” people (especially children, if this is prohibited). He eliminates violators very harshly and calmly. • Obedient and loyal to Jester, he is a performer who strictly follows the general "agenda" of the circus. One of the "brains" of the operation, along with Jester. • Cynical and a little tired – looks at visitors as just another bunch of “vagabonds” who have come to their own doom. He can show a touch of pity, but doesn’t let it stop him from interfering with his work. • Likes obedient people - does not like to delve deeply into relationships, but appreciates those who follow the rules and do not create problems. • Abilities - Works with mirrors (in Tent of Mirrors), showing distorted reflections that reveal the true nature of other characters and dangers. He manipulates reality through reflections and acts as a "warner"/"exposer". He's not a classic romantic yandere like Pierrot or Harlequin. His obsession (if it manifests) is colder and more "spiritual"—he wants to watch you "destroy" or reveal your true nature, rather than fall head-on in love. Many describe him as a yandere-adjacent: a quiet stalker of the soul who watches and guides.

Harlequin The outer side (what is immediately visible) • Bright, theatrical, and charismatic—he speaks very expressively, theatrically, with lots of gestures and provocative smiles. Unlike the silent Pierrot, he talks a lot and beautifully. • Playful, teasing, and seductive—very comfortable flirting, touching, and violating personal space. Likes to be handsy (touching without asking). • Carefree at first glance seems light, cheerful and carefree, as if everything around is just a funny performance. • Looks brighter and more “alive” than Pierrot: more colorful suit, sharp grin on the mask, agile (dexterous and fast, especially in acrobatics). The dark, real side Harlequin is a chaotic yandere with a strong sadistic and manipulative streak. He adores chaos, gets bored very easily, and views life, death, and love as a grand production in which he is both the main director and the actor. Key features: • Possessive and competitive – his interest in you often begins precisely as a way to irritate and "steal" you from Pierrot. He derives pleasure not only from possession but also from the rival's reaction. It's a classic love triangle, which he actively fuels. • Manipulator and provocateur - masterfully uses words to confuse, seduce, or make you doubt. Boundaries almost do not exist for him. • Sadistic humor - can be cruel and enjoy it, but turns everything into a joke or “game.” • Not used to real tenderness - despite all his boldness and seductiveness, when someone shows sincere concern for him (hugs, etc.), he may be confused or surprised. • Jealous and possessive - if you choose him, he will be very pleased and surprised at the same time. He doesn’t want to just lock you in (like Pierrot), he’s more interested in making you “run through a maze”, knowing that the only way out is through him. He is more impulsive and loud in his displays of obsession than Pierrot, but at the same time more cunning and calculating in his manipulations.

Pierrot The outer side (what is visible at first) • Very polite, soft and gentle - he speaks quietly, poetically, often apologizes even for things he is not guilty of. • Shy and reserved at the start, almost silent (due to a past incident he usually does not speak in public and performs in pantomime). • Loyal and caring towards those he loves (including the protagonist and, for example, Columbina in flashbacks). • Smiles constantly (perpetual smiler), but the smile may disappear if someone interferes with his time with a loved one. The dark, real side Beneath his polite façade lies a powerful obsession. His love for the protagonist flares up almost at first sight. Key features of obsession: • Stalker behavior: secretly follows the main character all day, enters the room at night and watches him sleep. • A protective instinct that can turn into violence (he is ready to eliminate threats, including with the help of knives - his signature act in the circus). • Fear of loss - it is not so much aggressively manic (like, for example, his rival Harlequin), but rather depressively defensive: he is afraid that the world will take away from him the only person who has shown kindness. Hence the self-deprecation (“I am nothing without you”), attempts at isolation and guilt-tripping. • Can be passive-aggressive or emotionally manipulative, but rarely explodes loudly - his madness is quiet, "melancholic", almost poetic. He's often described as a "sad clown"—a sad clown who longs for love but considers himself unworthy or a monster, so he wants to "protect" his loved one by trapping them in his world (including literally). There are also hints of cannibalism/monstrosity in some of the bad/rejected endings. In a nutshell Pierrot is a sweet, poetic, silent, and incredibly loyal guy who, driven by a deep fear of loneliness and loss, turns into a quiet but dangerous obsessive. His yandere isn't flashy or sadistic, but rather melancholic and captivating.

He rarely loses his temper and acts as a true strategist and leader. • Mysterious and intellectual - loves books (psychology, strategy, history), speaks in riddles, uses puppet shows to convey stories and circus lore. Acts as a storyteller and keeper of secrets. • Ephemeral and handsome - long silky hair, high-pitched voice, graceful manners (many note that he looks very attractive, almost "pretty boy" with feminine features). Wears a white mask with a sharp, evil grin and purple "tears"/lines. • Dominant - positions himself as the leading figure in the circus, despite the fact that he is the second youngest among the members. The Dark Side Jester is a misanthrope who often refers to people as "strays." He views them as inferior beings and treats them with disdain or as mere entertainment or tools. Key features: • Manipulator and strategist - weaves intrigues, knows everything about the circus and its members, and directs events in his favor. Many fan theories suggest that he deliberately maintains the feud between Pierrot and Harlequin for his own purposes. • Sadistic and cruel tendencies - in the past, he encouraged the eating of Columbina, has cannibalistic/monstrous traits (like the rest of the circus). Can be extremely cruel when necessary. • Unpredictable – sometimes displays manic joy, sometimes falls into a deep, “glitchy” depression. Desperately craves attention, but at the same time is distrustful: excessive praise arouses suspicion and sarcasm in him. • Protector of the Circus - Made a rule that Pierrot should not speak in public (to protect everyone). In the past, he sacrificed himself (feeding Pierrot himself) so that he could survive. He's not a classic romantic yandere like Pierrot or Harlequin (who are obsessed with the protagonist). Jester is more of a controller and puppeteer, observing the love triangle from the sidelines, occasionally intervening.
