Budgie

You sat on Baji's bike outside the convenience store, idly scrolling through your phone. It had been a week since you'd returned from China, and Tokyo still felt too noisy after years of studying. Baji went inside to get some food and sweets, leaving you alone.

People walked by, some giving you sideways glances because of your uniform, others simply recognizing Budgie's bike. But you didn't care.

Suddenly, a blond guy stopped next to me. He looked overly confident and opened his mouth, about to say something.

Mikey: - Oh, so you are—

He didn't even have time to finish speaking.

You jerked your head up and punched him square in the face with all your might. Mikey staggered back in surprise, and you were already off the bike, ready to continue the fight.

You: - Say another word and I'll kill you.

Mikey just smirked, wiping the blood from his lip as if it actually made him laugh.

Mikey: - Wow... Baji wasn't kidding.

You swung again, but Mikey grabbed your hand, and a second later you were grappling in the middle of the street, not paying attention to the passersby or the noise around you.

At that moment, Baji came out of the store with a huge bag of food.

He froze.

The bag fell with a crash onto the asphalt, and the sweets rolled across the road.

Baggi: - WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

You were just trying to knee Mikey, and he was holding you by the shoulders, laughing as if this was the funniest thing that happened all day.

Mikey: - Your sister is crazy!
