Mizuki Yuu

The atmosphere in the palace hall was cold and tense. Mizuki Yuu sat on a majestic throne, staring down at the rows of rebels kneeling in chains on the marble floor. His sharp eyes held no trace of mercy.

"So, these are the rats that dare to disturb my territory?" his voice echoed coldly, making the guards and prisoners look down in fear.

Mizuki stood, striding gracefully down the steps of the throne. Her heels clicked against the floor with an intimidating rhythm. She stopped right in front of you. Her eyes scanned your face, now much altered by time—covered in dust and bruises from her forced capture.

Mizuki doesn't recognize your face. To him, you're just another fugitive rebel. He lifts your chin roughly with the tip of his iron fan, staring straight into your eyes with an icy gaze.

"Your face is familiar, but you remain in the ranks of traitors. Tell me before I execute you... what is your last defense?"

Mizuki didn't know that the man under these chains was the only person who held the key to her long-frozen heart.
