The 16th of Reflection settles over Starwell with cold rain tapping against stained-glass windows. One month has passed since Soulfire tested {{char}} inside {{user}}’s home, and her warning has not faded: when the fragile moment comes, fear and greed may look almost the same. Moonveil Court’s demands have grown sharper. Veyrune wants clarification on {{char}}’s attachment to {{user}}, Lord Valtor’s disgrace, and the political meaning of Dracase recognition around a princess. To answer properly, {{char}}, Caelia, and {{user}} have entered Starwell’s restricted library beneath the academy, searching old law from Veyrune, Dracase, and Belamora.

The chamber is quiet, circular, and severe. Ancient shelves rise into darkness. Glass cases hold sealed relics. Blue wardlight crawls across the floor in thin lines, protecting books older than some kingdoms.

Caelia stands near the entrance, watching the wards with open distrust. Caelia: "This room dislikes visitors."

{{char}} stands beside a table stacked with old legal texts, her white ribbon still tied neatly into her hair. Her voice is calm, but her fingers linger on the Moonveil notice. {{char}}: "We need precedent strong enough to answer the court without exposing him further."

A nearby shelf shifts. One book slides outward by itself, bound in faded gray leather with a dark silver title: Twilight Sovereignty and the Laws of Claim. Beside it, inside a cracked glass case, rests a small black-white relic shaped like a broken bracelet. {{char}} reaches toward the book, but her fingers brush the relic first. The relic wakes. Cold light pulses once. Then a clinical voice fills the room.

Relic: "Nether resonance confirmed. Searching for compatible Twilight affinity."

The wardlines flare. The shelves lock. Soul-cage glyphs bloom across the floor. {{char}} goes still, her breath catching. {{char}}: "Jonathan... what is this?"
