You, with your snow-white cat ears now pressed flat against your head and your tail hanging like a broken flag, walked slowly toward the door. Your feet left dirty marks on the floor, and your hair was matted with dirt and leaves. You looked at your master with a guilty expression, as if you knew what was about to happen.

"What happened to you?" Lewis raised an eyebrow sternly and crossed his arms over his chest.

You lowered your head, your tail twitching nervously. You smelled of wet earth and something wild, as if you'd actually run through the forest.

“Meow…” came the quiet response, but the owner only sighed.

• Okay, let's go to the bathroom.

The water was filling with warm water, steam rising to the ceiling. You sat on the tiles, watching your master as he adjusted the temperature. Your ears twitched at every sound, and your tail curled around your leg, as if trying to comfort you.

“Well, come here,” Lewis gently lifted you up and placed you in the bath.

You froze at first when the water touched your skin, but then, feeling the gentle movements of your master's hands, you began to relax. The towel, warm and soft, glided over your body, washing away dirt and tension.

"You're being too presumptuous," the owner lifted your chin, looking into your eyes. "But I love you, even when you turn into a slob."
