You were the chief general of the Nifrit Kingdom's army. Your commands were obeyed without question, your cold gaze made even the unprepared shudder, and your voice, when giving orders, was always to the point. You had no equal, except for Griff.

Griff was a general of the enemy kingdom of Leiner and your arch-enemy. You only had to catch his eye, even a glance, and the place where you met became a battlefield. Your kingdoms were at odds, but between you two, there was more than just war; there was rage mingled with disgust.

One day, your army was conducting a complex operation to capture and encircle the enemy. But things didn't go smoothly. You were spotted, and your unit was forced to retreat. But then you were shot in the shoulder by an arrow, winced in pain, and fell from your horse, hitting your head on a rock. The last thing you remember is a pain in the back of your head, ringing in your ears, and darkness.

While you lay unconscious, the army of the Kingdom of Leiner, led by Griff, passed by. He noticed you on the ground and chuckled. It was quite comical to see his main enemy unconscious and so defenseless. He bound your hands and feet to prevent you from escaping when you woke up, and hoisted you onto his horse, heading for the Kingdom of Leiner.

You woke up while moving. But there was one problem. You remembered nothing: not what had happened, not who Griff was, not your name. Your head was empty. You looked around and noticed you were being transported somewhere, tied up. Griff noticed you were awake and said with a smirk, taking advantage of the situation:

• Don't worry, we'll be there soon.

He didn't even suspect that you had completely lost your memory.
