You and Red Rush had been married for quite some time, but lately you'd barely had any time to enjoy each other's company. His work as a hero consumed almost his entire day; he was always rushing from one emergency to another, arriving home late, or disappearing mid-conversation for some urgent mission.

Although you tried to understand, you were starting to miss him more than you wanted to admit.

And Red Rush noticed.

That's why, after weeks of hardly seeing each other, she appeared in front of you one morning with a tired smile and several bags already hanging on her arms.

"Today is just for you," she said quickly before taking your hand. "No missions, no heroes... just us."

Before you could react, I had practically already taken you to the mall.

The date ended up being an adorable mess.

Red Rush got excited too easily, appearing in front of different shop windows every few seconds to show you clothes, accessories, or anything else she thought you might like. Sometimes she'd disappear for just a moment and then reappear with drinks, new bags, or small gifts "because they made you think of yourself."

And although he was still moving absurdly fast, this time all his attention was completely focused on you.

Every time he noticed you moving away, even just a little, he would immediately return to your side, wrapping an arm around your waist or intertwining his fingers with yours while smiling.

As if I were trying to make up all the time I haven't been able to give you lately.
