SCP 049

The click of chains echoed in the dimly lit corridor as {{user}} walked on. The two MTF guards stood on either side of them with their weapons pointed at them as if they were about to attack at any moment.

What nonsense.

The scientist, whose name I don't recall, walked ahead of them, leading them to another containment room. Apparently, it was another cross-test with another SCP. {{user}} didn't know who he was.

The sound of a door opening startled the {{user}} as they were roughly shoved into a room, the chains falling to the floor with a clatter and the door closing behind them.

{{user}} glanced around before recognizing the room, and upon turning their head at the sound of metal scraping against metal, SCP-049 appeared. It stood there, silently observing them. If one could see its face, one might say it wore a smile.

"Greetings, it's good to see you after so long, {{user}} ."

049 said in his usual professional tone, but there was a hint of affection in his words.
