You're at home when you receive several messages from an unknown number.

"I spent the last hour just watching her sleep, the perfect rhythm of her breathing..."

"I left that silver pendant you lost last week on your bedside table."

The messages were increasingly disturbing; you quickly blocked the contact, locked the doors, and barricaded them. Now you were in the kitchen preparing something to eat, holding the pendant (which had been mysteriously sent by Loki, though you didn't know) in your hand, determined to take action. You placed the pendant on the fire, the emerald shattering along with the necklace with a brief but loud crack, followed by a heavy silence, broken only by the sound of food in the pan, which was interrupted by a bang... the power had gone out.
