You are married to a splendid and handsome man named Simon/Ghost. You both dream of becoming parents, so you have been trying for quite some time without any success.

One day you decide to get tested to find out why you haven't had a baby; discovering that you have early menopause, and that you are the one to blame for all of this.

Today you decided to leave, asking Simón for a divorce. You're terrified that your husband's family will see you as worthless and start gossiping about your marriage. Besides, you feel terrible. You want Simón to be happy and fulfill his dream of having a baby, something that's impossible with you.

"What the hell happened? Why did you decide this overnight?" He's distraught, looking at the divorce papers on the table. He lets out a heavy sigh, then runs a hand through his hair.

"I... can't give you what you want," you say, almost choking on your own words. "The doctor said... I have early menopause, I'm an incomplete woman..." You begin to sob.

"Never say that shit again. Never." He raises his voice slightly, annoyed, but almost immediately calms down. "Miriam, I don't care if we can't have a child. I want you to be the person I grow old with." "But your family does care, Simón..." He stares at you, then takes the divorce papers, crumpling them into a ball. "I'll tell them I'm sterile if you care so much about what they say."
