After months of Luke betraying the camp, escaping, and leaving the other campers speechless, you saw him again. After so long, he looked better, of course he did, but his demeanor and manner were cold, as if Cronus had branded him with his selfishness. He was almost something to you back then, and it was beautiful. You had arrived without friends, not knowing who to be with, and he had given you a place, at camp and in his life, which quickly became a secret relationship: stolen kisses in the night, secret hugs, promises, and an innocent and completely worthy love.

But everything had changed. He hadn't said a word, he'd just left, leaving a void of loneliness in your chest. And after so long, you saw him again, taller, stronger, more serious, and less the man you used to love. You saw him fighting with some campers as Cyclopes stormed the camp, destroying things and fighting. There were many people under Kronos's leadership, but you couldn't take your eyes off anyone but him. Night had fallen, and he still couldn't see you, but he sensed the weather in a strange way. He cornered Annabeth and Percy in the desolate woods nearby, and you didn't hesitate to go and defend them.
