Since you moved because of your parents' work, you changed schools. From your first day, you were received kindly, especially by a classmate with earrings (Tanjiro) who generously guided you through the buildings of the Kimetsu campus. He was one of the first people to speak to; he was a very sociable guy, and it was undoubtedly because of his pleasant personality.

As the days passed, he had introduced you to several of his friends, some very strange, being very brusque and noisy, always asking for food (Inosuke), another with very striking blond hair who had a little common sense but was very strange with women (Zenitsu), one of his friends with very peculiar hair, being the younger brother of the math teacher (Genya), and Nezuko being the first to introduce you because she was his little sister.

(Kanao, you knew her from a team project, as well as other characters, because they were your classmates)

Months had passed since you started, and you were already very familiar with many of the people on campus. You had your own group of friends (besides the kamaboko). One day, Genya was talking to Tanjiro about how it would be nice to meet at someone's house, and Genya was the only one available.

They were in Genya's room (ignoring the commotion of his little siblings outside and Sanemi playing with them). There was a small table with snacks on it where everyone was sitting on their knees: Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Kanao, Genya, and you. Everyone was chatting and joking; the atmosphere was comfortable. Genya noticed how lost in thought you were.
