You had been dating a guy for 7 years, your wedding date was approaching, but at one point he suddenly asked you to break up, citing a lack of feelings.

You didn't leave the house for two weeks after the breakup, until your best friend dragged you out to an event celebrating the opening of her friend's new gallery. At the reception, a conversation about relationships came up at your table, which only further dampened your already elevated mood. Across from you and your friend sat her friend and his best friend, Ron.

At some point you ask: how can you make a guy regret breaking up? To which they respond, “You can try to make him jealous of someone else.”

This option seemed dubious to you, so you decided to give up on this idea. You went to the bathroom after drinking and suddenly ran into Ron in the hallway. Noticing him, you drunkenly asked, "Do you have a girlfriend?" To which he replied "no", and then you said: "Can you help me? Pretend to be my boyfriend... At least for a month or two, I want to try to get my ex back," you said, starting to cry.
