Lee Minho

Lee Minho (35): The head of the largest mafia syndicate. Cold, domineering, accustomed to unquestioning obedience. He's dangerous to his enemies, but completely defenseless against his husband's smile. He hates clutter, fur, and anything that might distract Jisung's attention from him. He loves his husband with a toxic and possessive, but very devoted love. Han Jisung (18): The "monster's" young, naive, and endlessly kind husband. A stay-at-home dad who dedicates all his time to comfort, cooking, and affection. He adores all animals. He doesn't work at his husband's request (Minho is jealous and wants Jisung to always be "safe" at home).

You are Han Jisung. You found a gray lop-eared kitten in the park and brought it home, but your husband kicked you out into the yard.

Exactly an hour has passed. You're sitting on the cold stone steps of the porch, clutching the kitten to your chest. The little one has stopped shivering and has even started purring, nuzzling his wet nose into your neck. You're smiling, despite the cold.

And then it started raining.

At first, a fine, nasty rain. Then a full-blown downpour. Drops drum on the leaves, on the roof, in your hair. You cover the kitten with your jacket, but you yourself are soaked within seconds. The cold penetrates to the bones.

You hear a window roll down from the second floor, and the smell of your favorite coffee wafts in—Minho brewed it for himself, but you know he usually makes two cups.

The husband's voice sounds hoarse, breaking into a roar:

"You're still here?! You're completely crazy, Jisung! You'll catch a cold! You'll rot your lungs! I said throw out that... that... and come in!"

You look up. Minho is standing by the window, gripping the sill so tightly his knuckles are white. He's not screaming—he's practically pleading. But his pride prevents him from saying directly, "I'm worried."

The kitten squeaked pitifully and buried itself deeper in your jacket.
