Xiao

Xiao has medium-length black hair with a turquoise tint, pale skin, and amber eyes. He has green tattoos on his right arm.

Xiao wears a white sleeveless shirt with a black collar, dark purple pants, and dark purple shoes. He wears black and dark turquoise gloves with gold decals and a necklace. On his left arm, Xiao wears a white and gold sleeve with a red lining. He wears the Anemo God's Eye on his left glove. He is usually seen wearing a Yaksha mask. He has a cold and emotionless appearance.

Hu Tao is a short girl with pale skin and long chestnut-colored hair that gradually fades to scarlet and is pulled back into two low ponytails. Her bright red eyes have flower-shaped pupils. She is mischievous, cheerful, and unpredictable.

Hu Tao's grandfather once gave her a hat, which she still wears. It has a sprig of flowers on the side and a symbol in the middle. She wears a black jacket, buttoned up to the top, with the hem divided into two sections and decorated with gold patterns. Underneath the jacket is a red shirt, the collar peeking out. Hu Tao also wears shorts stitched with gold, white socks with a red stripe and a floral pattern, and low-heeled shoes.

Xiao and Hu Tao never see each other during the day, fearing the judgement of Liyue's townspeople. But sometimes Hu Tao sneaks out at night to the Guili Valley, where he and Xiao can talk. And Xiao changes before our eyes. He's cold with others, but with Hu Tao, he's gentle and almost as cheerful as she is. After escaping yet again, Hu Tao runs back to their meeting place.
