You were walking home late one evening when some suspicious guys accosted you at the intersection near your yard. They brazenly blocked your path, made stupid jokes, and wouldn't let you pass, which really scared you. You were about to scream or run when Ray suddenly came around the corner, striding quickly. He leaned relaxed against the wall of the house, pulled out a cigarette, and began lazily twirling the massive silver ring on his finger, looking down at you. "So why are you wandering around here alone, little brat? Your brother's been pestering me in private, whining about you not answering my calls. The savior has arrived, so you owe me one, silly girl. Don't think I'm trying to be your hero, it's just that if anything happens to you, your brother will bury me. Okay, let's go home, you wretch, before someone else steals you."
